Training Schedule

We train year round.  Indoor workouts are held at the YMCA Downtown, and so participation in these requires a YMCA membership.

​

 

Our group training sessions are uncoached.  Training plans are provided for each session.  In addition the the group work-outs below, club members may meet in smaller groups for additional work-outs as they support each other to reach their goals.

Swimming

YMCA Downtown

We swim at the Downtown YMCA.  A workout plan will be provided each week, but most sessions are uncoached.  Approximately 10 times a year we bring in a coach to provide a skills session, during which we work on a specific skill, such as arm pull or streamline.

In late spring and summer, we will also have open water swim sessions at Birds Hill Park.

Bike

Assiniboine Park

We bike outside from mid-April to the end of September.  Our location may change over the course of the summer (changes will be posted to the club calendar).

Run

Assiniboine Park

Year round outdoor group runs will get you up and moving.  We split into smaller groups based on pace, all meeting up at the end for high-fives and maybe even some ice-cream or hot coffee.  Our location may change over the course of the year (changes will be posted to the club calendar).

Strength or Indoor Cycle

YMCA Downtown

When we aren't biking outside, we will meet for a strength circuit work-out or indoor cycle session.
